Who says you have to have children or grandchildren to reflectively learn?

I’ve learnt to search for change, respond to it, and exploit it as an opportunity.

I’ve learnt to make friendships, in the places I find most uncomfortable.

I’ve learnt to listen to those who have experienced hardships, to lessen the blow of my experiences.

I’ve learnt to keep my eyes, ears and heart open to new and marvellous opportunities.

I’ve learnt to see myself through other’s eyes, in order to change my behaviour.

I’ve learnt to give credit when it’s due.

And, I’ve learnt that I’m imperfect at doing these things… but that won’t keep me from trying again and again.
